The San George Festivities 2026 in Camariñas will once again fill the parish of Buría with music, tradition and a joyful festive atmosphere from April 22 to 25. This is one of those celebrations that still preserve the true spirit of traditional local festivals, where neighbours, families and visitors come together to enjoy days full of devotion, community life and celebration. For four days, Buría will become a lively meeting point in the heart of the Costa da Morte.
The programme begins on Wednesday the 22nd with the eve of the feast, marked by fireworks and the ringing of the parish church bells. Thursday the 23rd will be the main day in honour of Saint George, featuring a solemn mass, procession, vermouth session with the orchestra Trébol and an evening dance with Trébol and Capitol. On Friday the 24th, the celebrations will honour Saint Roch and Saint Anthony, with a day that blends religious tradition, a vermouth session with M3 Show and a lively night party featuring M3 Show, Função Públika, the mobile disco Impacto and DJ Cotelo.
Saturday the 25th, dedicated to emigrants, will keep the festive spirit going from the vermouth session until late at night, with music and entertainment throughout the day. The final day will include performances by the mobile disco Impacto, Panorama City and DJs Nyan Boe and Drew Korme. The San George Festivities 2026 in Camariñas, organised by the Asociación San Xurxo de Buría 2026 with the support of the Camariñas Town Council and local residents, are a great chance to experience an authentic Galician celebration with deep local character.
