The San Xoán Festivities 2026 in Sardiñeiro, in the municipality of Fisterra, will take place on 23 and 24 June with a programme combining music, local food, religious tradition and lively evening celebrations. The two-day event is a wonderful way to welcome summer in one of the most attractive fishing villages on the Costa da Morte.
On Tuesday, 23 June, there will be a street parade through Sardiñeiro with Charanga O Rumbo, followed by a free sardine barbecue for everyone attending. The evening will continue with a large open-air party featuring the orchestra Saudade and Disco Full.
On Wednesday, 24 June, mass in honour of San Xoán and San Roque will be held at 12:00 noon, followed by a traditional firecracker display. A vermouth session with Eureka will begin at 1:30 p.m., and from 11:30 p.m. the final evening party will feature Eureka and Disco Full, with DJ David Expósito.
