Vimianzo Castle will become a stage for oral storytelling with “Donas do lugar”, a performance by Galician storyteller María da Pontragha included in the programme of the Atlántica Festival. The event offers an opportunity to experience the power of spoken stories in one of the Costa da Morte’s most distinctive heritage settings.
The session is intended for an adult audience and will be performed entirely in Galician. María da Pontragha will lead an evening in which voice, stories and oral tradition meet the historic walls of the castle, creating a particularly evocative setting for listening and becoming immersed in each tale.
“Donas do lugar” with María da Pontragha in Vimianzo will take place on Friday, 26 June 2026, at 8:30 p.m. at Vimianzo Castle. Admission is free, subject to venue capacity.
