The Ézaro Waterfall, the only waterfall in Europe that plunges directly into the sea, transforms each summer into a breathtaking light-and-sound spectacle. In 2025, illumination sessions will be held on the following dates:
Every evening from 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM, the Mirador do Ézaro becomes a canvas for two hours of vibrant projections and lighting effects set against the cascading waters, accompanied by an immersive musical soundtrack. This is a must-see event for fans of night tourism on the Costa da Morte.
The show is staged at the base of the falls, using the natural rock face and flowing water as a dynamic backdrop to highlight the power and beauty of the landscape. Admission is free, but early arrival is recommended to secure parking in Dumbría and a good viewing spot at the Mirador. During illumination nights, you’ll also find local artisans and gourmet food stalls enhancing the festive atmosphere.
