ZAS, 25/06/2024. The Costa da Morte Tourism Association (CMAT), with the support of the Provincial Council of A Coruña, is organising the “I Photographic Contest Costa da Morte, Naturally Wild”. A competition aimed at any person to highlight the value of the territory and make known the different places and resources of the Costa da Morte.

To participate in this contest, it will be necessary to do it through a public Instagram account. In this way, CMAT hopes that people will interact through social networks sharing moments, experiences and special places of the Costa da Morte.

Theme of the 1st Costa da Morte, Naturally Wild Photo Contest

The theme must be in line with the name of the competition: Naturally Wild. This implies that the photograph submitted must highlight Costa da Morte as a destination with a lot to discover, without overcrowding and highlighting that character so typical of this territory.

This theme seeks, precisely, to focus on the natural and wild condition of the landscape, both inland and on the coast. Flora, fauna, sporting activities, landscapes. Anything related to the idea of the Naturally Wild can be included in this competition. Moreover, the photograph can use any technique and format.

Participation in the 1st Costa da Morte, Naturally Wild Photographic Competition

The contest is already underway and will last until 30 October 2024 at 23:59. In addition, there will be two categories of prizes. The first one will be the Audience Award, which will go to the photograph that, on 31 October 2024 at 00:00, has the most “likes” on the Instagram post with which it participated. The second will be the Jury’s Prize, which will be awarded by a group of people chosen for this purpose and which will be made public at a later date.

The prizes will be awarded at the 4th Costa da Morte Tourism Meeting, to which all finalists will be invited.
