Find out more about Corcubión Lighthouse

In 1847 it was decided by the Lighthouse Commission to place a lighting point to facilitate the entrance to the Corcubión estuary. The location chosen was the so-called Cape Cee.

The lighthouse was first lit up on July 31, 1860. After several improvements, in 1934 it was automated.

The building has a square floor plan, with a hipped roof, raised on a stone platform. The lantern is located in a tower attached to the south wall.
