The Pilgrimage of “San Fins do Castro” is one of those festivals that you cannot miss for anything in the world. Declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in Galicia, this is an event in which you can get involved from start to finish by participating in traditions such as the “dry watercress” in which you will have to shout in the air in coordination with the other attendees to ward off evil spirits, the offering to the saint of gunpowder in which you will see the burning of a figure representing a trade or in the picnic in An incomparable place while enjoying the accompaniment of live music.
This Pilgrimage is celebrated every August 1st in the parish of Cesullas in the surroundings of the Hermitage of San Fins do Castro. In this area there are tables and seats as a picnic area where you can enjoy your food during the event as is tradition.
