CMAT has completed an institutional visit to the Uribe region in Bizkaia to learn firsthand about best practices in sustainable tourism management. Over two days, representatives from the association took part in technical visits, institutional meetings, and discussions with tourism professionals, gathering valuable insights to help improve the quality and competitiveness of Costa da Morte as a tourism destination.
The CMAT continued its exchange visit in the Uribe region with a second day focused on sustainable tourism management and public-private collaboration. The program included Gaztelugatxe, the Camino de Santiago in Larrabetzu, meetings with representatives of the Bizkaia Provincial Council, and local tourism business owners. The experience provided new insights to help strengthen tourism in Costa da Morte.
Costa da Morte Tourism Association (CMAT) began today its visit to Uribe (Bizkaia) for an exchange of good practices, with a program organized in collaboration with the Jata-Ondo Development Association, the entity in charge of tourism in this destination.
