Walking is a wonderful way to connect places and the stories between them. On Sunday 8 November 2026, the Vía Alcaianus route forms the fourth outing in Senda Nova’s 15th Outono en Marcha heritage-walking programme.
The announced route spans the Coristanco–Carballo area and covers 18 km. The organisers rate it low difficulty, but its length means you should be comfortable walking for several hours. Bring appropriate footwear, water and food while enjoying a day of rural landscapes and local history.
The walk is on Sunday 8 November, with departures listed at 9:00 am from A Laracha Town Hall and 9:15 am from Bergantiños Shopping Centre in Carballo. Places are limited, with registration due two days before.
