On Sunday, 1 November 2026, at 1:00 pm, literary hotel Bela Fisterra welcomes author Rodrigo Costoya for a presentation of the latest revision of Portosanto. This free, open-to-all literary event in Fisterra offers a chance to explore Galician historical fiction and the stories that continue to shape the region’s collective memory.
In Portosanto, Rodrigo Costoya draws on Galicia’s past and the figure of Pedro Madruga to create a fictional journey through history. The novel offers readers a starting point for reflecting on historical memory, storytelling and the people whose lives still inspire questions today.
Part of Bela Fisterra’s ongoing series of literary encounters, the presentation takes place at a hotel where books and the sea are central to the experience. Close to Langosteira Beach on the Costa da Morte, it is a welcoming setting in which to hear from the author and share an interest in literature and Galician history.
Whether you already know Portosanto or are discovering Rodrigo Costoya’s work for the first time, this is an opportunity to enjoy a literary meeting on Galicia’s Atlantic coast.
