On Saturday, 26 September 2026, Camping Lago-Mar closes the day with an unusual late-night stage event: a puppet cabaret evening with UNIMA and guest performers. The show starts at 11:00 pm in Merexo (Muxía) as part of Lago-Mar’s September programme.
Cabaret and puppetry share a quality that becomes especially powerful in small venues: proximity to the audience. Short pieces, humour, stage play, manipulation and surprise can move rapidly from one tone to another, creating a lively format in which each act contributes to the atmosphere of the evening.
The event offers a chance to experience puppetry in a nocturnal, playful register, well beyond the common assumption that the form belongs only to children’s entertainment. It highlights the expressive, satirical and visual possibilities of puppet theatre in a cabaret setting with invited performers.
