The Muxía Town Council (Concello de Muxía) is bringing the Xaneiro Vivo programme to a close with a special event where literature meets the sea: the presentation of the illustrated albums “Nación Mar” and “Nao cetácea”, by Xosé Iglesias. Two works that revisit naval history and pay tribute to the sea, maritime heritage, biodiversity and the fishing community, with special attention to Muxía’s iconic boats.
The event takes place on Saturday 31 at 7:00 pm at the Muxía Fish Market (Lonxa de Muxía), in a warm, local gathering to enjoy culture at an unhurried pace—very much in tune with the town’s seafaring identity.
Speaking order: Daniel Castro, Sandra Vilela, Xosé Iglesias and Javier Sar, with Xusto López Carril moderating. A fitting end to the month, celebrating illustrated books and Muxía’s maritime memory.
