Malpica de Bergantiños continues its «Sabores do noso pobo» Gastronomy Days with a second hands-on event celebrating local cooking. This time, Yara from Casa da Vasca restaurant will show participants how she prepares some of her dishes and share the culinary traditions of Galicia’s Costa da Morte.
The session takes place on Friday, 30 October 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Casa da Vasca restaurant in Porto de Barizo, Malpica de Bergantiños. It is a welcoming chance to learn directly from a local cook, explore traditional flavours and share an enjoyable evening centred on food.
Taking part is completely free, but places are limited to 15 participants. Registration opens at Malpica Town Hall on Tuesday, 13 October.
Organised by the local Economic Promotion Department, the initiative celebrates the people who keep Malpica’s food heritage alive. Come along to learn, cook, share and enjoy!
