The Festas da Laracha 2026 include a traditional programme of firecracker salutes, morning calls, street music and fireworks. From Friday 14 to Monday 17 August, pyrotechnics will mark key moments of the celebrations, announcing parades, processions and evening festivities.
Firecracker salutes are a familiar part of many Galician popular festivals, announcing events, accompanying ceremonial moments and adding to the distinctive atmosphere of the celebrations. In A Laracha, this tradition forms part of a programme combining religious events, music, street activity and evening dances.
Throughout the festival, quiet hours will run from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. During this period, music at fairground attractions will be reduced to create a more accessible environment for people with sensory hypersensitivity and for anyone who prefers a calmer atmosphere.
