The waves of Razo Beach in Carballo, Galicia, are welcoming international surfing once again. From 15 to 18 October 2026, EDOMMO Surf Pro Razo takes a major step forward, moving beyond its junior format to become a World Surf League (WSL) QS 2,000 event for men’s and women’s open divisions. Four days of competitive surfing and beachside atmosphere on the Costa da Morte.
Surfers on the European qualifying circuit will compete for valuable WSL ranking points. The competition area is near the open space in front of Raz SurfCamp, a familiar place for people who learn, train and enjoy surfing in Razo.
The surf camp continues to support competitors who stay close to the waves and head into the water early. Events like this are also about the local surfing community that makes Razo special throughout the year.
Alongside the heats, visitors can enjoy skateboarding, workshops, a market and introductory surf and skate activities. Admission is free, making this a great chance to experience the event whether you surf or simply love being by the sea.
