From November 17th to 22nd, 2025, the Council of Cee will host the “Eco de Sol” Environmental Week, a series of cultural and educational activities aimed at raising awareness about sustainability through art, theatre, and community participation.
The Baldomero Cores Auditorium will feature events such as the play “Sol Fuerza” by aAntena Teatro, the regueifa workshop led by Lupe Blanco, and screenings of documentaries like “Derrubando xigantes” (about wind energy in Costa da Morte) and “O monte é noso” (on the struggle for communal lands). The week will conclude with a popular ethnomedicine talk by María Moure, open to the general public.
All activities are free of charge. A perfect chance to connect culture and sustainability in the heart of the Costa da Morte.
