Disección de la bondad en tres actos, by Titzina, comes to FIOT 2026 in Carballo as part of the Programa de Sala and in its Galician premiere. The performance takes place on Friday 30 October at 9:00 pm at the Auditorio Pazo da Cultura.
The play brings together three stories as strange as they are human: a magician who brings his mother back to life in order to collect her pension, a farmer who reshapes his memory, and a predator able to hide behind a thousand identities. From these materials, Diego Lorca builds a dramaturgy that looks with humour and unease at the ways we justify our actions and at how truth changes depending on who tells it.
The title promises a moral dissection, yet Titzina’s theatre avoids preaching. Comedy, narrative precision and a poetry rooted in everyday life open up familiar contradictions: need, self-deception, guilt, survival and the ambiguous territory where goodness stops being a simple idea.
Titzina’s arrival at FIOT offers Galician audiences the chance to discover a work built on close observation of human behaviour. It is a comic and poetic journey through human nature, led by characters who continually force the audience to reconsider its point of view.
