The Culture Department of Cee City Council presents the Cultural Spring 2025, a diverse program featuring events for all audiences including literary presentations, exhibitions, concerts, theater and children’s activities. Here are some highlights:
March
March 22: Book presentation “Canta, miña compañeira. O legado das cantareiras” by María Lado at the Municipal Library at 19:00h.
March 28: Concert “NO CONTROLES”, a tribute to 80s and 90s hits, at the Baldomero Cores Auditorium at 21:00h.
March 29: Theater play “Os Náufragos: Bulebule”, addressing ADHD, at the Baldomero Cores Auditorium at 19:00h.
April
April 4: Opening of the exhibition “O soño dun neno” by Luis Lista at the Casa da Cultura Exhibition Hall at 20:00h.
April 5: Performance “Barafunda: A vida é un frenesí” at the Baldomero Cores Auditorium at 20:30h.
April 14-18: “Ceequiña da Biblio”, fun and educational activities for children aged 6-12 at the Municipal Library (prior registration required).
April 23: Book Day celebration with “Blind Book Borrowing” at the Municipal Library.
May
May 1: Día da Muñeira (Traditional Galician Dance Day) at Praza 8 de marzo starting at 17:30h.
May 15: Performance “Dende Rosalía ata as cantareiras” for schoolchildren, followed by the awards ceremony for the Library contests at 11:30h.
May 17: Concert by the Cee Music Band for Galician Literature Day at the Baldomero Cores Auditorium at 21:00h.
June
June 15: Cee Municipal Theater School presents its adult group at the Baldomero Cores Auditorium at 21:00h.
June 21: Concert by A Banda da Loba with their show “Lovismo” at 22:00h.
