On Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st, Coristanco hosts the 43rd edition of the Festa da Pataca, a festival that blends gastronomy, tradition, music, and community spirit.
Saturday will feature cooking shows with Miguel Mosteiro, wine tastings, the famous “Hot Potato” contest, children’s games, traditional workshops, choir performances, and live music into the night.
Sunday brings the festival’s highlights with the Parade of Decorated Tractors, the Golden Potato Award ceremony, the official opening speech, and the popular community lunch. Music, family theater, and contests will round off a weekend that celebrates the heart of Coristanco: its potato and its people.
