From July 11 to 13, 2025, the coastal villages of Camelle and Arou will host a new edition of City of Agra, an event honoring the 128th anniversary of the historic shipwreck of the British steamship on the Costa da Morte. The weekend will feature a maritime fair, guided tours, theatrical performances, children’s activities, live music, and a tapas route through local bars.
Highlights include the concert by The Bronteroc, the play Palilladas, the Landing of the Shipwrecked, vermouth sessions with Adhara & Ritman and Kreze, and a moving tribute ceremony to the victims on Sunday. The event also includes traditional contests and the symbolic football match Camelláns vs British.
A weekend filled with history, remembrance, and seafaring culture — keeping alive the memory of one of Galicia’s most iconic maritime stories.
