The Dolmen of Dombate will host the presentation of Caixón das lembranzas, a book by Luis Antonio Giadás Álvarez, on Saturday, 16 May at 12:00 noon. The work offers a journey through the memory of Cabana de Bergantiños through photographs focused on women’s occupations in the 20th century, recovering images, stories and ways of life that are part of the area’s local identity.
This presentation is an opportunity to discover a documentary work of great human and heritage value, where photography becomes the thread that connects everyday life, work, family economy and the transmission of popular culture. Caixón das lembranzas invites readers to look back with respect, emotion and curiosity, acknowledging the legacy of generations who shaped the history of the territory through their daily efforts.
