Pasarela Galician Literature Day 2026 will take place on Saturday 16 May from 4:30 p.m., with a cultural and festive programme dedicated to Begoña Caamaño. Organised by the Pasarela Neighbours’ Association with the collaboration of the Vimianzo Town Council, this event will turn the parish into a meeting point for Galician language, music, theatre and local community life.
The programme will offer activities for all audiences, with performances by the dance group Airiños do Río Grande, the bagpipe group Abrindo Rejo, Irma Macías and Luis Pinto, theatre by Tete de Salto, monologues by Mortos de Risa, theatre by O Club das Letras, music by Pasarela Big Band and a performance by Suso Andrea. It will be a lively afternoon to enjoy Galician culture in a warm, local and participatory atmosphere.
Alongside the performances, the event will include an exhibition of old photographs, a children’s workshop and the traditional pinchos, as usual. Pasarela Galician Literature Day 2026 is one of those celebrations shaped by collective effort and affection for local culture, with special thanks to the neighbours and all the collaborators who make this gathering possible.
