The Barquiña Festival in Ponteceso 2025 will once again fill the town with music, tradition, and joy from September 12 to 15. For four days, locals and visitors will enjoy a vibrant program of open-air dances, midday sessions, popular games, parades, and the magic of Ponteceso’s most iconic celebration.
On Friday the 12th, the festival will kick off with a grand popular barbecue and the performance of the inclusive project Diversidarte. The evening will feature Judith Cundíns and Discoteca Móbil Impacto with Drew & Korme. On Saturday the 13th, Trío Matices will lead the midday session, while at night Grupo Bomba and Discoteca Móbil Impacto with David Bermúdez will light up the dance, crowned by a spectacular midnight fireworks display.
Sunday the 14th will be a family day with a 1:00 p.m. mass, a midday session with M-3 Show, and an afternoon of games and a foam party in the recheo. On Monday the 15th, the Coral de Bergantiños and Orquestra Fuego will bring the festivities to a close after the sung mass, accompanied by the final traditional games. A festival that beats to the rhythm of Ponteceso, where tradition blends with fun, creating unforgettable memories every year on the Costa da Morte.
