This autumn, Dumbría’s Libraries celebrate Library Week with a focus on equality: fun science, magic, puppetry, storytelling, illustration and crafts for children and families. Activities are part of Ler Conta Moito and will take place across the five municipal libraries (O Ézaro, Berdeogas, O Conco, Buxantes and Olveira).
Dates: 20–29 October. Workshops have limited capacity.
• Mon 20, 18:00 – O Ézaro: Inventoras con mentes curiosas (A Xanela do Maxín).
• Tue 21, 18:00 – Berdeogas: Workshop Bonecos de trapo. Xoguetes non sexistas (O Faiado de Nin).
• Wed 22, 10:50 – O Conco: Aldara e a Montaña (O Sol de Outono) — CEIP Sta. Eulalia students.
• Wed 22, 18:00 – Buxantes: Aitana e a avoa, e outros contos violetas (O Sol de Outono).
• Thu 23, 18:00 – Olveira: Workshop Mestras da maxia (Sara Rodríguez).
• Fri 24, 18:30 – O Conco: Workshop Formas que fala: table puppets – women artists (Babaluva Títeres).
• Mon 27, 10:45 – O Ézaro: Pipo, o paxaro que non sabía voar (Trémola Teatro) — babies 0–3.
• Wed 29, 18:00 – Buxantes: Workshop Pequenos artistas: Descubrindo a Castelao (Marisa Irimia).
