The Álex Pombo Memorial will bring together several generations of local football on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026 at As Redondas football ground in Neaño, Cabana de Bergantiños. Two days of football will honour Álex Pombo, with matches involving Cabana, Ponteceso and Leliolio across youth categories, women’s football, veterans and senior teams.
The event offers a full weekend of football and remembrance at one of Cabana’s best-known local grounds, with fixtures scheduled from morning to late afternoon.
The Álex Pombo Memorial turns football into a meeting point for clubs, players, families and supporters. It is an opportunity to join Cabana S.D. and the participating teams in a sporting tribute that keeps Álex’s memory at the heart of the weekend.
