On Saturday, May 25th, the 2nd Dog Day will take place in Baio, organized by the Concello de Zas. This family-friendly event for dog lovers will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Praza Jorge Mira Pérez. Following the opening, there will be a showcase of professional breeders presenting dogs competing in the Galician Championship Ascelcre/Expogal.
At 11:30 a.m., a local dog contest will be held, open to anyone who wants to participate with their pet. Participation is free, and registration can be completed at the Sociocultural Center of Baio by calling 981 718 056 or through the form at https://bit.ly/concursocanino25. All participants will receive gifts, and there will be special prizes for the cutest and friendliest dogs.
The morning will conclude with another professional dog exhibition, and the event will wrap up around 1:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony. This activity is organized by the Concello de Zas in collaboration with the Association of Legal Breeding and Responsible Care Centers and Cenvet Veterinary Center.
