The festivities begin on Saturday, September 6, with the solemn San Roque mass at Santa María das Areas Parish Church, followed by a procession through the town accompanied by the Cee Municipal Band. At 4:30 PM in Constitution Square, there will be children’s games and a children’s festival, concluding the night with performances by Orquesta Pontevedra and the Remember Festival featuring Expósito & Josiño Destroyer.
On Sunday, September 7, the procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel starts at 10:30 AM with the Ateneo de Negreira Band; after the mass, the traditional maritime procession and offering to the fishermen take place. The vermouth session features Orquesta Mar de Arousa, and in the afternoon there are street parades by the brass bands O Son dos Michos, Nin Chica Nin Patacón, and O Rumbo de Sardiñeiro. The evening closes with concerts by La Fórmula and Mar de Arousa alongside Full Mobile Disco.
Monday, September 8 – the Feast of Santa María das Areas – opens with early-morning fanfares and serenades, followed by a solemn mass at 11:00 AM and procession, with a vermouth session by Orquesta Alabama. In the afternoon, there is a street parade by O Rumbo de Sardiñeiro, and at 6:00 PM the IX Alexandre International Table Football Championship takes place in Constitution Square. The day ends with a final performance by Orquesta Alabama.
