The 11th Asunción Antelo Competition in Coristanco returns in May 2026 as a new cultural event focused on creativity and artistic expression in the municipality. This artistic-literary initiative once again highlights talent, sensitivity and the close connection between the educational community and Galician language and culture.
The competition is organised with the collaboration of the Galician Language Promotion Teams from CPI Alcalde Xosé Pichel, CEIP Canosa-Rus, CEIP Bormoio-Agualada and CRA A Tarandeira, reinforcing the participatory spirit of the project. It also reflects the commitment of the Coristanco Town Council to continue supporting initiatives linked to culture, education and language.
The 11th Asunción Antelo Competition in Coristanco is therefore a valuable opportunity to keep artistic and literary creation in the spotlight at local level, encouraging participation and interest in activities that help preserve the cultural identity of the area.
