Local football takes centre stage on Sunday, 8 November 2026, when SD Sofán hosts CF Dumbría at 5:00 pm at O Carral football ground in Sofán, Carballo. This Costa da Morte derby brings two neighbouring clubs together for a special afternoon of football.
CF Dumbría’s senior men’s side comes into the match after consecutive defeats against Betanzos and Pol. The visitors will be looking to regain confidence and pick up points, while Sofán will have home support behind them. Local derbies always bring extra anticipation and atmosphere.
For supporters of both clubs, this is more than an ordinary league fixture. Expect a spirited local sporting occasion, with Dumbría encouraging its fans to make the trip and support the team from the stands. One club, one shared spirit!
