Basketball takes centre stage in Carballo on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, with six games involving Escola Basket Xiria teams, from youth basketball to Spain’s Tercera FEB. It’s a weekend to back the local teams, enjoy the atmosphere in the stands and watch young players develop their game.
Saturday’s Tercera FEB clash between Calvo Basket Xiria and Caja Rural RDL León is a highlight of the schedule, tipping off at 19:30. The rest of the programme offers plenty for basketball fans too: competitive senior regional action and youth fixtures where every defensive stop, rebound and smart pass matters.
Games take place at Vila de Noia, IES Monte Neme and Bergantiños sports halls in Carballo, as well as Sofía Toro Sports Hall in Cambre. Check your chosen game’s venue and start time before travelling. Admission details and any last-minute schedule changes are not provided on the event poster.
