The Sala Gervasio Sar in Muxía hosts “Sinaladas: Women’s Struggle in the 20th Century – One Hundred Years of Achievements and Repression”, an exhibition by researcher Montse Fajardo Pérez. It brings to light the experiences of women who suffered repression and violence, restoring names and faces to stories that deserve a place in our shared historical memory.
The exhibition opens on 1 October 2026 at 7:00 pm, with Sol Agra Tuñas, provincial deputy for Equality, Language and Civil Rights; Muxía mayor Francisco Javier Sar Romero; equality councillor Aurelia Picallo Merlán; and CIM psychologist Nerea Spata.
On 2 October at 10:30 am, exhibition coordinator and researcher Montse Fajardo Pérez will discuss the research and remembrance work behind the women’s stories.
