On Friday 21 August 2026 at 8:00 pm, Parque da Paluxa in Os Muíños (Muxía) hosts «Muiñada», a family theatre production by Galeatro combining humour, play, music and tradition to bring audiences closer to Galicia’s cultural heritage and shared memory.
The show is part of the O teu Xacobeo 2026 programme and takes audiences on a journey into the past through one of the most characteristic elements of traditional Galician life: the watermill.
Sabela and Xacobe meet at a watermill after a misunderstanding about whose turn it is to grind. From that encounter come legends, games and stories that reveal, in an engaging and entertaining way, how these places were once part of everyday life and the memories of generations of Galician families.
«Muiñada» is designed for children and adults to enjoy together, combining theatre, humour and music with a playful approach to Galician cultural heritage.
