On 21 August 2026, Laxe hosts a special cultural event devoted to history, heritage and the landscape of the Costa da Morte. Carmen Domech presents “Petroglyphs”, an activity that invites visitors to explore the past and the traces that human communities left carved in stone over time.
The event will take place at Monte da Ínsua, one of Laxe’s most emblematic natural settings. Its landscape provides a distinctive backdrop for an experience focused on memory, culture and the relationship between people and their territory.
This is a different way to discover local heritage through an accessible cultural approach, bringing together nature and history in a remarkable corner of the Costa da Morte.
Organised by: Concello de Laxe – Concellería de Comercio, Hostalaría, Turismo e Cultura.
With the support of: Rede Cultural – Deputación da Coruña.
An opportunity to enjoy culture outdoors and discover Laxe’s heritage in a setting of outstanding scenic value.
