Some summer plans make a real difference. On Tuesday 18 August 2026, the “Este verán, doa sangue” blood donation campaign will stop in Cabana de Bergantiños, with a mobile unit located in front of the pharmacy in A Carballa.
The blood donation session in Cabana de Bergantiños will run in two time slots: from 10:15 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. It is a simple way to give a little of your time to a community effort that can help many people.
According to the campaign information, donors should have breakfast and wait at least two hours after lunch before donating. Donors should also bring their donor card, ID or a similar document, tell medical staff about any medication they are taking and avoid a heavy meal beforehand.
