On Wednesday, 12 August 2026, the surroundings of Faro Vilán will host a viewing of the partial solar eclipse, a unique astronomical spectacle on the Costa da Morte.
The poster indicates a maximum obscuration of 99.90%, with an approximate total duration of 1 hour and 51 minutes.
Certified eclipse glasses will be available for purchase and will be free for association members. The event also includes a mussel tasting.
