On Saturday 8 August 2026, the Porto de Caión will host a new edition of Xornada do Mar, a festive day inspired by the sea, starting at 12 noon.
The event will feature the traditional carrilanchas race, prizes for the winners, a mussel feast with barbecue, a cucaña challenge and music from DJs. It will be a lively day by the harbour, bringing together local traditions, food and music.
Anyone wishing to take part in the race can complete the registration form.
