Punto Rojo Baio 2026: shopping, tapas and entertainment from 21 to 23 August

Punto Rojo Baio 2026 brings three days of shopping, food and street entertainment to Baio on 21, 22 and 23 August. The programme combines local shop sales, a tapas route, street stalls, open-air cinema, a tourist train, children’s activities and live music, making it an ideal weekend to explore the town and enjoy its commercial and hospitality scene.

Participating local businesses will offer sales and special promotions throughout the three-day event, opening from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visitors can also take part in a tapas route from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

There will also be street stalls selling discounted and second-hand items throughout the day, adding to the lively open-air shopping atmosphere.

Friday 21 August: at 10:00 pm, Praza Jorge Mira will host an open-air evening cinema screening of Sirât.

Saturday 22 August: AC Adro will provide entertainment around midday, followed in the afternoon by the lively Charanga O Rumbo.

Sunday 23 August: the musical programme continues at midday with Charanga Os Celtas and in the afternoon with Santa Compaña.

Tourist train and children’s entertainment

On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August, a tourist train will run from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, offering a fun way to move around Baio during the event.

Families can also enjoy children’s entertainment at Praza Jorge Mira from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on both days.

Punto Rojo is designed to showcase Baio’s local shops and hospitality businesses through a programme that blends shopping, gastronomy and street entertainment, encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the town throughout the weekend.
