Palilladas 2026 has its world premiere on Friday 10 July at Porto de Camelle, in Camariñas. This live Galician-language performance starts at 7:30 pm.
The play follows four women making lace in Rosa’s sitting room while sharing stories and gossip from the village. When Suso do Banco, a notorious womaniser, fakes his own death to escape to Buenos Aires, the tale unfolds into a sharp comedy of manners shaped by coastal humour and the strength of the women of the Costa da Morte.
A comedy rooted in Camelle that celebrates lacemaking, popular memory and the bonds of a seafaring community.
Organised by: AC A Folja da Faneca.
With support from: AC Náufraxios Galegos and Concello de Camariñas.
