The 2nd Costa da Morte International Charity Tournament will bring together twelve over-35 veteran teams on 18 and 19 July 2026 at Campo de Fútbol do Vinculeiro in Cances, in the municipality of Carballo. Matches will begin at 9:00 am on both days. Organised by Cances CF, the event combines veteran football with support for a charitable cause.
The line-up includes Veteranos de Oza, San Román, Deportivo Carballo, Veteranos de Rossonero, Veteranos Canarimbos, Bombeiros de Narón, Juventud León, Veteranos de Zamora, Veteranos de Medal, Racing Club, Amigos de Celeirós do Douro and A Morocha. The tournament therefore features local, Galician, national and international representation, including two visiting teams from Portugal.
Solidarity admission costs €3 and includes a wristband. All proceeds will go to Asociación Princesa Rett, with particular support for Daniela and other girls from the area affected by Rett syndrome. The organisers invite residents, families and football supporters from across Costa da Morte to attend the matches in Cances and contribute to the initiative throughout the weekend.
