Summer Cultural Programme 2026 in Fisterra

The Summer Cultural Programme 2026 in Fisterra will bring music, theatre, open-air cinema, traditional festivities and family activities to the municipality from June to August. Under the slogan “Culture at Sunset at the End of the Camino”, the programme combines local traditions, home-grown talent and entertainment across different venues in Fisterra and Sardiñeiro.

The calendar includes well-established celebrations such as Corpus Christi, San Xoán, the Festa do Carme, the Entroido de Verán and the Festa do Longueirón e Desembarco Pirata. Visitors will also find concerts, performances by local theatre schools, social dances, music sessions for all audiences and several outdoor film screenings.

Activities will take place at venues including the Mercado Cultural, the Port of Fisterra, Praza da Constitución, Praza do Concello and the Sardiñeiro seafront promenade. Some performances have limited capacity and require advance booking. The organisers note that the announced locations may change for organisational or logistical reasons.

• 7 June: Corpus Christi, with mass at 11:00 a.m. followed by a procession. Social dance with Marietta at 7:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural.
• 20 June: premiere of “O sono dunha noite de San Xoán” by the Municipal Theatre School. Limited capacity and advance booking required. San Xoán bonfire celebration.
• 23 June: San Xoán festivities in Sardiñeiro.
• 26 June: premiere of “Fin de mes” by the Children’s Theatre School of Colexio Nosa Señora do Carmen, at 8:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural. Advance booking required.
• 27 June: premiere of “A herencia” by the Theatre School of Colexio Nosa Señora do Carmen, at 8:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural. Advance booking required.
• 28 June: social dance with Martín Bermúdez at 8:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural.
• 11 July: 8th Fisterra Summer Carnival.
• 12 July: social dance with Maracaibo at 8:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural.
• 17 July: Peque Disco Moc Moc and Remember 90–2000 at 9:30 p.m. in Praza do Concello.
• 19 July: concert by The Crass at 9:30 p.m. at the Port of Fisterra.
• 24 July: outdoor screening of “Rondallas” at 9:00 p.m. on the Sardiñeiro seafront promenade. Family activity.
• 25 July: Santiago Apóstolo concert by the Cee Music Band at 12:00 noon at the Port of Fisterra.
• 26 July: social dance with Claudia Zurita at 8:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural.
• 1 August: Festa do Longueirón and Pirate Landing.
• 7 August: outdoor screening of “Buffalo Kids” at 9:00 p.m. in Praza da Constitución. Family activity.
• 7 and 8 August: Festa do Carme in Sardiñeiro.
• 9 August: social dance with Judith Cundins at 8:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural.
• 15 August: concert by Tonichi and Pacheco at 12:00 noon.
• 22 August: concert by Uxía Lambona e a Banda Molona, “Eiii Carballera”, at 12:00 noon in Praza da Constitución. Family activity.
• 23 August: social dance with Marietta at 8:00 p.m. at Mercado Cultural.
• 28 August: outdoor screening of “Bella e o Circomáxico” at 9:00 p.m. on the Sardiñeiro seafront promenade. Family activity.
