The Virxe das Dores Festivities 2026 in Gures, in the municipality of Cee, will take place on 26 and 28 June with a programme combining local food, traditional music, an evening party and religious events. The two-day celebration will bring residents and visitors together to enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional parish festival on the Costa da Morte.
On Friday, 26 June, from 9:30 p.m., there will be a large barbecue accompanied by the traditional music group Tanto Nos Ten. A ticket must be requested with the purchase of a drink. Afterwards, the evening party will continue with performances by Trío Alborada and Grupo Fussion.
On Sunday, 28 June, there will be a street parade by the bagpipe group O Sib do Solpor, mass at 9:00 a.m. and a solemn mass with procession at 1:00 p.m. Afterwards, a double vermouth session with an aperitif will feature Dúo Ciclón. A marquee will be available in case of rain.
