The San Cristovo Festivities 2026 in Baio, in the municipality of Zas, will take place on 10 and 11 July with a programme full of tradition, music, processions and lively evening celebrations. The festivities will begin on Friday, 10 July, the day of San Cristovo, with street performances by the Banda E. Pondal de Corme and the Gaiteiros de ADRO.
During the morning, there will be masses at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., followed by a solemn mass at 12:00 noon in the Igrexa Nova and the traditional car procession. The vermouth session will feature Alianza, and the evening party will continue with performances by Alianza and París de Noia, one of the main musical highlights of the celebration.
On Saturday, 11 July, the day of Santa Bárbara, there will be street performances with the Gaiteiros de ADRO and a sung mass at 1:00 p.m. in the Igrexa Nova. The vermouth session will be led by Galia, and the evening celebration will continue with Galia and Bomba. The San Cristovo Festivities 2026 in Baio are organised by the Comisión de Festas de Baio, with the collaboration of the Deputación da Coruña, the Concello de Zas and A. C. ADRO.
