The Interim Evaluation Forum of the GALP Costa da Morte Strategy will take place on Thursday, 11 June at 5:00 p.m. at the GALP headquarters, located in the Centro de Artesanía e Tradición de Buño, in Malpica de Bergantiños. The event marks the conclusion of the participatory process opened to evaluate the Local Participatory Development Strategy of the Costa da Morte Fisheries Local Action Group.
Throughout this process, different participation spaces were held with local organisations, fishermen’s guilds, municipal councils, net-makers’ associations and other stakeholders linked to the sector, with the aim of assessing the work carried out by GALP Costa da Morte in managing the FEMPA aid programme. This forum will now present the results obtained and offer a shared overview of the progress made since the beginning of this programming period.
The meeting is designed as an open space for participation, where any person or organisation from the territory can learn first-hand about the achievements of the GALP’s work and share the main needs of the sector. Attendance is open, and the technical team of GALP Costa da Morte encourages dissemination and participation in this forum, an important step towards a more sustainable future for the fisheries and maritime sector of the Costa da Morte.
