Cereixo will celebrate its festivities in honour of Saint James the Apostle from 24 to 26 July 2026, with a three-day programme combining religious ceremonies, local food, live music and evening dances. The celebration is supported by Vimianzo Town Council.
On Friday, 24 July, there will be a chorizo cooked in wine tasting accompanied by Dúo Galán, followed in the evening by a dance featuring Orquesta Cuarta Calle and Eme Music mobile disco with DJ Marcos Magán. Saturday, 25 July will begin with traditional music and a street parade performed by a bagpipe group. At 1:00 p.m., a solemn Mass will be held in honour of Saint James the Apostle, Saint Anthony and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, followed by a vermouth session with Grupo Saoco, arriving from the Canary Islands for their first performance in Galicia. The evening dance will feature Grupo Saoco and Superfabrik mobile disco.
On Sunday, 26 July, a solemn Mass in honour of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at 1:00 p.m., followed by a vermouth session with Dúo The Voice. From 7:00 p.m., there will be an afternoon party with CDC mobile disco and free barbecue food with each drink purchased.
