The Concello de Zas will hold the 3rd Dog Day Concello de Zas on Sunday, 24 May, an event designed to bring together dog lovers, families, professional breeders and animal enthusiasts at Praza Jorge Mira Pérez. Starting at 11:30 am, this special gathering will offer a different kind of experience in the Costa da Morte, combining a dog show, a popular contest, exhibitions and participatory activities focused on our four-legged companions.
The programme will include the 3rd Dog Show for the ALCELCRE Galician Championship, aimed at professional breeders and officially scoring for the championship. Participating dogs must have an identification microchip and up-to-date vaccinations. The event will also feature the 3rd Costa da Morte Local Contest, open to anyone who wishes to take part with their dog, provided the animal has a microchip and a valid veterinary record.
The popular contest will include awards such as Best-looking Dog and Friendliest Dog. The day will also feature a dog exhibition with professional breeders and outstanding participating dogs, as well as a prize draw among registered participants. Registration will remain open until the day of the event and can be completed through the Concello de Zas online form, by phone at 981 70 83 03 or by email at culturazas@gmail.com.
