2nd Lago-Mar Monologue Contest

The 2nd Lago-Mar Monologue Contest arrives this May with a great plan for anyone who enjoys live comedy and fresh talent on stage. The event will begin at 9:00 PM and will feature two semi-finals on May 8 and May 15, followed by the final on May 23, creating three lively evenings built around humour, performance and audience connection. The poster also highlights reverse entry, adding an extra local and welcoming touch to the experience.

This 2nd Lago-Mar Monologue Contest is open to anyone over 18 years old who wants to take part and present their own text before the audience and the jury. Monologues may be performed in Galician or Spanish, with a maximum length of 15 minutes. To register, applicants must send an email to info@campinglagomar.es including their full name, ID number, postal address, age, phone number, the title of the monologue and a copy of the text. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2026.

The organisation will select a maximum of 8 participants, with four performers in each semi-final and four finalists in the last round. Finalists must present a different monologue from the one used in the semi-finals, and the organisation will provide dinner, accommodation and breakfast for each participant plus one companion. The contest also includes appealing prizes: 1st prize of €300 plus a full-board weekend stay, 2nd prize of €200 plus a full-board weekend stay, 3rd prize of €100 plus a full-board weekend stay, and 4th prize of a full-board weekend stay at Camping Lago-Mar.
