Malpica in a Sea of Letters 2026

The Concello de Malpica, together with local associations, joins the celebration of Letras Galegas with a programme full of cultural activities for all audiences, highlighting the value of Galician language, literature and identity.

Over these weeks, Malpica will host literary presentations, storytelling, theatre, music, exhibitions, dance and commemorative events such as the floral tribute to the Pandeireteiras de Mens, in a programme that brings together tradition, memory and contemporary creation.

Culture and literature for everyone! A perfect opportunity to experience Malpica through words, music and local participation.

• Thursday, 23 April: the Municipal Public Library will provide the libraries of schools in Malpica with publications about the life and work of Begoña Caamaño.
