The 2026 cultural programme at Torres do Allo brings together a rich and appealing calendar designed to further establish this historic site as one of the main cultural landmarks in Costa da Morte. Throughout the year, the Zas Town Council is promoting a combination of cultural, educational and leisure activities aimed at audiences of all ages, reinforcing the idea of Torres do Allo as a living, open space closely linked to history, heritage outreach and public participation. The programme will begin during Holy Week and will continue through to autumn.
The first major events will take place between March 28 and April 5, when the manor house will open continuously from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and offer daily guided tours at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. During those same dates, younger visitors will be able to take part in the treasure hunt “Francisca’s Legacy, a Journey through the Manor House”. In June, the temporary exhibition “Zas en Romaría” will open, focusing on the local pilgrimages of Santa Margarida, San Roque do Monte and San Ramón do Allo. The children’s programme will also include themed workshops during the year linked to Galician Literature Day, San Xoán and Christmas.
During the summer, the 2026 cultural programme at Torres do Allo will include the camp “Zas no Verán 2026”, a musical performance by the trio Boroa, the popular theatrical tours by Quinquilláns on Sundays in July and August, and a new edition of the Allo Escape Room, available by reservation in July, August and September. On August 30, the traditional San Ramón Pilgrimage Festival will be held with an expanded programme featuring a traditional crafts market, a vermouth session with the charanga Benofan and the family show “Consertasso na Horta” by Brais das Hortas. Later in the year, on October 26, Torres do Allo will close the season with a special Samaín celebration including a children’s workshop, chestnut roasting, traditional music and a performance by magician Samuel Moreno.
