Find out more about XIII Víndemo Ver ao Solpor in Carnota

Carnota’s Víndemo Ver has become a celebration that reconnects each edition with local memory—and in 2026 the spotlight is on something truly iconic here: the sunset (Solpor). From 2 to 5 April, San Gregorio Square will turn into a lively fairground for local produce, crafts, food and culture.

Across the four days you’ll find the Deputación Market (garden produce, eco options and local goods), a strong presence of local makers and artisans, and open-air food and drink areas. The programme begins on Thursday 2 at 17:00 with the opening and an immersive audiovisual show, “Os nosos ceos: Costa da Morte” (Antonio Nodar & Frank Bushmann). On Friday 3, there’s a BTT mountain bike event starting at 09:30 from Carnota’s sports hall, plus a children’s bike gymkhana from 10:30 (kids must bring their own bike and helmet). On Saturday 4, the themed walk “Andaina do Solpor” (around 12 km) starts at 18:30 from San Gregorio Square, with a bus transfer to the starting point and a route largely along the slopes of Mount Carnota.

There will also be children’s activities, traditional music performances (Longarela Bagpipe Band, Charanga Santa Compaña and Ximiela Folk Group), and evening concerts: Thu 2 (22:00) Chiña + karaoke; Fri 3 (22:00) Los Lunes al Sol + The Balayos; and Sat 4 Tian GZ, Xian Pais and Ortiga. Throughout the event you can visit the exhibitions “En busca del rayo verde. Atardeceres en el último segundo del sol” (photojournalist Ana García) and “Un mar de cunchas”. For extra atmosphere, visitors are invited to come dressed in period costume.
