The Real Academia Galega and the Zas Town Council (Concello de Zas) invite you to the presentation of “Toponimia de Zas”, a book by Xosé María Lema Suárez that highlights the power of place names—everyday words that hold the story of the land, its language and its people.
The event will take place on 6 February 2026 at 8:00 pm at the Auditorio de Baio (Travesía de Fisterra, 1). Speakers include Manuel Muíño Espasandín (Mayor of Zas), Antón Santamarina (Onomastics Seminar, Real Academia Galega), Ana Boullón (Asociación Galega de Onomástica), and the author Xosé María Lema Suárez.
